The battle between Samsung and Apple for smartphone speed and performance is always intense. Recently, YouTube channel PhoneBuff conducted a real-life speed test comparing the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, showing which device truly excels in everyday use.
Galaxy S25 Ultra Shows Its Real-Life Speed Advantage Over iPhone 17 Pro Max
In the test, both phones were tasked with opening multiple apps, including web browsers, photo and video editing apps, and heavy games. The Galaxy S25 Ultra completed the first round 13 seconds faster than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. This demonstrates that in daily activities, Samsung’s flagship handles multitasking more smoothly and efficiently.
iPhone 17 Pro Max Performs Slightly Better in RAM, But Galaxy S25 Ultra Still Dominates
During the second part of the test, both phones reopened the same apps from memory (RAM). Here, the iPhone 17 Pro Max performed a bit better and reduced the gap slightly, but it still couldn’t outperform the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This proves that even with higher benchmark scores, real-world performance often matters more to everyday users.
Galaxy S26 Ultra Is Coming Soon: Expect Even Faster Performance and Better Efficiency
Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and One UI 8.5. This upcoming flagship is expected to be even faster, more power-efficient, and provide a superior user experience for tech enthusiasts.
Conclusion: For users who prioritize real-life speed, multitasking efficiency, and smoother app handling, the Galaxy S25 Ultra currently stands out as the better choice over the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
