Realme has officially confirmed the launch of its latest custom operating system, Realme UI 7.0, in India. The new software layer is built on Android 16 and promises a refreshed visual experience, improved performance, and deeper AI-powered personalization. The update will debut with the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro, while rollout for existing models, including the Realme GT 7 Pro, will begin gradually starting November. The brand has also shared a broader rollout timeline extending through Q4 2025 and early 2026.
Redesigned Interface with a Modern Look
One of the biggest highlights of Realme UI 7.0 is its new visual identity. The interface adopts a glass-inspired aesthetic that focuses on clarity and depth. Redesigned elements such as Ice Cube Icons, a Misty Glass Control Center, and a smoother Breathing Dock animation create a more fluid navigation experience. Realme says the aim is to make day-to-day interactions feel lighter and more natural.
More Personalization Than Ever
The update introduces Flux Theme 2.0, offering larger fonts, vibrant layout options, and a panoramic Always-On Display mode. Users can also set live wallpapers, motion-based lockscreens, and even AI-enhanced depth effects that highlight the subject of images. Custom fingerprints animations, re-sizeable desktop icons, and new interactive widgets allow for deeper personal control over the look and feel of the device.
Smarter Notifications and AI Enhancements
Realme UI 7.0 brings AI Notify Brief, a feature that organizes non-urgent alerts into two daily summaries—making it easier to stay focused during work and rest hours. There’s also AI Framing Master, a tool that automatically suggests the best camera framing while taking pictures. Realme says these improvements are aimed at reducing information clutter and enhancing user convenience.
Better Cross-Device Connection
A standout feature this time is improved cross-platform compatibility. Realme UI 7.0 is designed to work seamlessly with iPhones and Apple Watch, allowing users to mirror calls, check messages, and sync health data directly on Realme devices. This move brings Realme users closer to a unified multi-device ecosystem.
