Samsung is expanding its popular Galaxy M lineup with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G in India. The company has officially confirmed that the device will make its debut on October 10, succeeding the Galaxy M16, which was launched earlier this year in February.

The Galaxy M17 5G is set to arrive with a super slim 7.5mm body, making it one of the sleekest phones in Samsung’s M series. The device will also come with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and an IP54 rating, providing extra durability against dust and splashes.
Camera Setup with OIS and Advanced Imaging Features
In the camera department, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M17 5G will sport a 50MP primary camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for blur-free shots. It will be accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor for close-up photography. For selfies and video calls, users will get a 13MP front camera, ensuring sharp and clear results.

One of the highlights of the Galaxy M17 5G is that it will support Circle to Search, a smart AI feature that lets you search anything on your screen instantly with a simple gesture. The phone will also come with Gemini Live, enhancing AI-powered performance and real-time app interactions.

While Samsung hasn’t yet disclosed the price, the Galaxy M17 5G is expected to be priced under ₹20,000 in India, making it a strong contender in the mid-range 5G smartphone market.
